We will now touch on the development of maintenance programs to deal with everything generated by the work of the developed systems, necessary for their useful life, but temporary and necessary only somewhere but it will not be necessary to maintain them forever, which it can even be harmful and lower the very effectiveness of the system.

There are "general" programs developed for this purpose, such as CCleaner, but it can never be as effective as programs developed ad hoc by the same personnel destined for the maintenance of the programmed, especially if they have (which should always happen) access to the source code and thus be able to study it to find what can really be said to be "deleted" in order to speed up or make the program as such more efficient.
